Terms of Service Agreement
1. Our Introduction
  If you agree to the information provided below, welcome to our program.
In this agreement, we have referred to the AttorneyLegalDirectory.com service as the "Service", to you as the "User" and to this contract as the "Agreement".
2. What is the Relationship Between AttorneyLegalDirectory.com And the User: Venue of Communication is provided.
  AttorneyLegalDirectory.com is an Internet forum that assists in the communication between attorneys and potential users of legal services they provide. AttorneyLegalDirectory.com acts as a venue for providers and seekers of legal services to exchange information with the goal of possibly forming a professional relationship. AttorneyLegalDirectory.com does not guarantee that Users will successfully find an attorney through the Attorney Directory or using the methods prescribed on this site. AttorneyLegalDirectory.com takes no position and offers no opinion on when or if an attorney-client relationship has been formed.

In order to provide an optimal forum for attorneys and clients, AttorneyLegalDirectory.com does not involve itself in the agreements between attorneys and clients or the actual representation of clients. Therefore, we cannot ensure the completion of the agreement or whether or not commitments by either party will be fulfilled. The User, and not AttorneyLegalDirectory.com, is completely and solely responsible for determining the whether the legal provider or attorney is acting with honesty and integrity.

    Any form of use of the Service by an attorney subscribing to this service has not been intended to and does not create an attorney-client relationship between any person or entity and AttorneyLegalDirectory.com. Any expressly denied.

3. User Rules
  AttorneyLegalDirectory.com reserves the sole right to deny further access to its service to any User who violates these rules, is the subject of grievances by other AttorneyLegalDirectory.com Users, for any other reason, or for no reason at all.

Users may not engage in any of the following conduct while using our system:
  • do or say anything to cause harm to others
  • display pornographic material of any kind
  • display conduct considered hate speech or bigotry
  • conduct or instruct others to perform an illegal activity
  • display material that exploits children under 18 years of age
  • perform or attempt to perform any illegal activity
  • violate the standards of the Internet community

AttorneyLegalDirectory.com is not to be held responsible for the materials displayed on its web sites or that of its affiliates. The data on the web sites is not verified for accuracy before posting and AttorneyLegalDirectory.com does not warrant or guaranty the accuracy of any data submitted to its web site. AttorneyLegalDirectory.com does not continuously review the standing of any attorney subscriber with any regulatory authority. When considering employing any attorney or law firm, Users should not rely on any advertisement, claims of expertise, or on the cost of rendering the requested legal services. of an attorney but rather should conduct their own due diligence by checking with the attorneys licensing or regulatory body. In addition, AttorneyLegalDirectory.com cannot validate or verify that an attorney is a “Specialist” or whether or not any representations by attorneys that subscribe to its service as to legal specializations are valid.

AttorneyLegalDirectory.com uses it best efforts to verify that attorneys who subscribe to the Service are licensed and in good standing in at least one state in the United States at the time of registration. However, AttorneyLegalDirectory.com on a practical basis is unable to continually monitor whether an attorney is subsequently disciplined after registration. Therefore AttorneyLegalDirectory.com disclaims any responsibility for the background or conduct or attorneys subscribing to its service.

AttorneyLegalDirectory.com in no way endorses the promises or representation verbally or in writing of any made by attorneys or any other parties, who participate on this site or its affiliates.
5. Confidentiality
  AttorneyLegalDirectory.com makes every effort to maintain the confidentiality of any information submitted by Users to our System and our database of attorneys. However, because AttorneyLegalDirectory.com cannot control the conduct of others, we cannot guarantee that this information will remain confidential. Please use caution in deciding what information to input into the System. Do not make any confessions or admissions. Do not use proper names or addresses. Do not provide any other highly personal, sensitive, or incriminating information. AttorneyLegalDirectory.com is not responsible for the release or improper use of such information by other Users or any release due to error or failure in the System.

User agrees that attorneys contacted by User through the System may report to AttorneyLegalDirectory.com on whether their services were engaged by the User and the total attorney’s fees paid.
6. Indemnification Provision
  The User agrees that AttorneyLegalDirectory.com is not responsible for any harm caused by this service The User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AttorneyLegalDirectory.com harmless from all liability and costs incurred in connection with any loss, liability, claim, demand, damage, and expenses arising from or in connection with the use of this Service. The User agrees that this defense and indemnity shall also apply to any breach by the User of the Agreement or the foregoing representations, warranties and covenants. The User further agrees that this defense and indemnity shall include without limitation the payment of attorney fees and costs. The User also agrees that this defense and indemnity shall apply to AttorneyLegalDirectory.com, its affiliates, directors, officers, agents, affiliates and employees. AttorneyLegalDirectory.com reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by the User and the User shall not in any event settle or resolve or mediate any matter without the written consent of AttorneyLegalDirectory.com.
7. Data Liability
  AttorneyLegalDirectory.com is not responsible for any loss of data resulting from an accidental or deliberate deletion, network or system outages, file corruption, or any other reasons beyond or not beyond its control.
8. Other AttorneyLegalDirectory.com Rights and Privileges
  AttorneyLegalDirectory.com also reserves the following rights:
 
  • to release current or past User information, pursuant to the terms of Privacy Policy in the event AttorneyLegalDirectory.com believes that accounts are in violation of the terms of service or page content guidelines, used to commit unlawful acts, or by court order and/or if AttorneyLegalDirectory.com at is sole discretion deems it to be necessary or appropriate.
  • to reject and block service to offenders of these rules and guidelines or the Agreement
  • to have the sole discretion to terminate or block service to anyone for any reason or no reason
9. Modifications to Terms of Service
  AttorneyLegalDirectory.com may change the Agreement at any time on this web site. The User is responsible for checking back with this web site from time to time to review new terms and conditions and to promptly comply with the new terms and conditions. Continued use of the service will indicate acceptance of the new terms and conditions.
10. Modification or Discountinuing the Service
  AttorneyLegalDirectory.com has the right to change or discontinue this service at anytime without prior notice and without liability to the User or any third party. AttorneyLegalDirectory.com reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service with or without notice to the User. Under such termination AttorneyLegalDirectory.com may immediately delete all files associated with the site or its affiliate sites.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
  AttorneyLegalDirectory.com does not provide any warranty on this service and insure that our liability for any problems connected with the use of our system is strictly limited.
12. Additional Disclaimer of Warranties

ATTORNEYLEGALDIRECTORY.COM MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET USER'S REQUIREMENTS, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; NOR DOES ATTORNEYLEGALDIRECTORY.COM MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE OR AS TO THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED. ATTORNEYLEGALDIRECTORY.COM MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY GOODS OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE OR ANY TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH THE SERVICE.

NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY THE USER FROM ATTORNEYLEGALDIRECTORY.COM SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN.
13. Limitation of Liability
  THE USER AGREES THAT ATTORNEYLEGALDIRECTORY.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE OR FOR COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES OR RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE OR RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF USER'S TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLES, EVEN IF ATTORNEYLEGALDIRECTORY.COM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE USER FURTHER AGREES THAT ATTORNEYLEGALDIRECTORY.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM INTERRUPTION, SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF SERVICE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER SUCH INTERRUPTION, SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION WAS JUSTIFIED OR NOT, NEGLIGENT OR INTENTIONAL, INADVERTENT OR ADVERTENT.
14. Arbitration
  Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or AttorneyLegalDirectory.com services shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in the Greenville, South Carolina and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered by any court having jurisdiction thereof. Either the User or AttorneyLegalDirectory.com may seek any interim or preliminary relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in the County of Greenville, South Carolina, necessary to protect the rights or property of the User or AttorneyLegalDirectory.com pending the completion of arbitration. This arbitration clause does not prohibit either AttorneyLegalDirectory.com or the User from seeking to have the arbitration dismissed or judicially terminated on the basis the claims in arbitration action fail to provide a legal basis upon which a claim for relief may be granted. Any motion or action to dismiss must be filed in a court of general jurisdiction within the county of Greenville, South Carolina .
15. ADDITIONAL STATE SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES
  Alabama
No representation is made that the quality of the legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers.

Alaska
The Alaska Bar Association does not accredit or endorse certifying organizations.

Florida
The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely upon advertisements. Before you decide to hire any attorney, ask that lawyer to send you free written information about that lawyer’s qualifications and experience.

Hawaii
The supreme Court of Hawaii grants Hawaii certification only to lawyers in good standing who have successfully completed a specialty program accredited by the American Bar Association.

Illinois
The Supreme Court of Illinois does not recognize certifications of specialties in the practice of law and that the certificate, award or recognition is not a requirement to practice law in Illinois.

Iowa
The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements or self-proclaimed expertise. This disclosure is required by rule of the Supreme Court of Iowa.

Memberships and offices in legal fraternities and legal societies, technical and professional licenses, and memberships in scientific, technical and professional associations and societies of law or field of practice do not mean that a lawyer is a specialist or expert in a field of law, nor do they mean that such a lawyer is necessarily any more expert or competent than any other lawyer.

A description or indication of limitation of practice does not mean that any agency or board has certified such lawyer as a specialist or expert in an indicated field of law practice, nor does it mean that such lawyer is necessarily any more expert or competent than any other lawyer.

All potential clients are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any lawyer being considered. This notice is required by rule of the Supreme Court of Iowa.

The filing of a claim or suit solely to coerce a settlement or to harass another could be illegal and could render the person so filing liable for malicious prosecution or abuse of process.

Kansas
Any attorney listings or other information pertaining to a particular attorney or law firm on this Site constitutes a paid attorney advertisement, and do not in any way constitute a referral or endorsement by an approved or authorized lawyer referral service.

Massachusetts If a Massachusetts lawyer holds himself or herself out as "certified" in a particular service, field or area of law by a non-governmental body, the certifying organization is a private organization, whose standards for certification are not regulated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Mississippi
Free Background information is available upon request to a Mississippi attorney. There is no procedure in Mississippi for approving certifying or designating organizations and authorities.

Missouri
ADVERTISING MATERIAL: COMMERCIAL SOLICITATIONS ARE PERMITTED BY THE MISSOURI RULES OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT BUT ARE NEITHER SUBMITTED TO NOR APPROVED BY THE MISSOURI BAR OR THE SUPREME COURT OF MISSOURI. Neither the Supreme Court of Missouri nor the Missouri Bar reviews or approves certifying organizations or specialist designations.

Nevada
Neither the state bar of Nevada nor any agency of the State Bar has certified any lawyer identified here as a specialist or as an expert. Anyone considering a lawyer should independently investigate the lawyer's credentials and ability.

New Jersey
Any certification as a specialist, or any certification in a field of practice, that does not state that such certification has been granted by the Supreme Court of New Jersey or by an organization that has been approved by the American Bar Association, indicates that the certifying organization has not been approved, or has been denied approval, by the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the American Bar Association.

New Mexico
LAWYER ADVERTISEMENT
Any certification by an organization other than the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization does not constitute recognition by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization, unless the lawyer is also recognized by the board as a specialist in that area of law.

Rhode Island
The Rhode Island Supreme Court licenses all lawyers in the general practice of law. The court does not license or certify any lawyer as an expert or specialist in any field of practice.

Tennessee
Certifications of Specialization are available to Tennessee lawyers in all areas of practice relating to or included in the areas of Civil Trial, Criminal Trial, Business Bankruptcy, Consumer Bankruptcy, Creditor's Rights, Medical Malpractice, Legal Malpractice, Accounting Malpractice, Elder Law, Estate Planning and Family Law. Listing of related or included practice areas herein does not constitute or imply a representation of certification of specialization.

Texas
Unless otherwise indicated, Not Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Washington
The Supreme Court of Washington does not recognize certification of specialties in the practice of law and that the certificate, award, or recognition is not a requirement to practice law in the State of Washington.

Wyoming
The Wyoming State Bar does not certify any lawyer as a specialist or expert. Anyone considering a lawyer should independently investigate the lawyer's credentials and ability, and not rely upon advertisements or self-proclaimed expertise.
16. General Provisions
  The foregoing Agreement, incorporates by reference our Privacy Policy and any notice by AttorneyLegalDirectory.com contained in any of the Web site pages and embodies the entire understanding between the User and AttorneyLegalDirectory.com regarding the User's relationship to our Service.

Users can reach our Service from all fifty states and around the world. Each of these places has a different set of laws. Since AttorneyLegalDirectory.com cannot keep track of all these laws and their requirements, the Agreement and the relationship between the User and AttorneyLegalDirectory.com shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

If AttorneyLegalDirectory.com fails to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement, that failure shall not be used to prove that AttorneyLegalDirectory.com has waived the right or provision. If any provision of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and that the other provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. The User agrees that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Service or the Agreement must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred. The section titles in the Agreement are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
